Hi! Hope you are all having a fab weekend! Just to make it even better here is a spot of homework… Just to make life super wonderful and that sort of thing!
Ella and brother with top new arrival!
Harry is staging a one person protest in the Winter Gardens… Good man!
English and grammar.
Watch this and think about four sentences you can use which involve prepositions. Could you use prepositional phrases at the start of your sentences...
Look at these three numbers… Could you provide two multiplications and two divisions.. If you know these facts could you use… for example 700 x 9 = ?

Thanks sooo much,
It’s Paddington day tomorrow so the word has been expanded from wear what you want with a bear to dress to impress with any suitable fashion statement! Express yourself!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to ALL THE LOVELY PEOPLE who offered to help with Paddington tomorrow but you are more than welcome those who offered to come! But thanks so much!
Today we had a fab day creating our factories and even Hinge and Bracket (last pic) turned up to help us out with some fantastic acting as part of English!
Check out Lapland!
You people continue to be amazing!
All best wishes,
Dear all, in bear related and Christmas news as you know this week we are off to the cinema to see Paddington. Unfortunately Miss Kidd and Mr Marshall have copied us and are also going to the cinema… But because we are obviously a little more ‘interesting’ and it was our idea first… there is now the option to dress up for our visit in bear related costumes or Paddington themed gear. Obviously you really absolutely don’t have to!
In other news WE NEED HELPERS so if your lovely mummies and daddies, and aunts and uncles
and squirrels and pugs would like to assist they are more than welcome!
Can you let us know my emailing me! And thanks in anticipation…
I’d like to apologise… I wasn’t around to mark all homework on Friday because I was with Year Six getting ready for the Nativity stuff on today at St. William’s it twas not done!
If I don’t do it by Monday eve you can call me Clarence the delinquent elf and throw holly at me!
Don’t forget to send us exciting pics of your weekend…
I’m doing your reports so be nice….
Look at this fabulous maths effort from Mae…

Snow walk with wolf!
Ella Penn has created this fabulous sculptural snowperson!
Firstly… A huge thank you for the amazing perimeter homework we have had handed in this week.
Next week we are working on multiplication and division problems.
1. Nina Anderson finds 53 cats on her way to school. Being the kind and generous person she is she decides to divide the cats equally to Zach, Emily and a couple or Orlas’. How many cats do the four people get and how many are left over for Miss Mycroft’s cat sanctuary…
2. It’s the Champions League. Roma are playing against Liverpool in the final but because Mr Klopp, the Liverpool manager doesn’t understand the word ‘defending’ Roma score a goal every five minutes. What is the score after ninety minutes?
Your task is to create a division and multiplication problem! Why not do it on PowerPoint and we can blog it! The most inventive will win a prize!
It’s grammar time! This week in our English lessons, we have looked at paragraphs and how to use speech within a paragraph. If you all have a look on pages 64 – 66, you will find some work to do on paragraphs! Remember what we have looked at in class and you will all be brilliant. I look forward to receiving your grammar books on Monday afternoon (I’ll leave a box on the desk near the computers for the books as I have to go and have a look around the other school on Monday morning but I will be back in the afternoon!) All remember those all important Dojo points will be up for grabs!
Have a lovely weekend and I hope you don’t get snowed in!
You people have a fantastic weekend… I so promise I will back as soon as I can ! If you are having a fab weekend please send a pic so we can blog it!
All Best wishes,
Miss Mycroft and Mr Conway
